Thumbs up Groove Armada

Saw Groove Armada last night at Webster Hall and they were incredible! I knew they'd be good, but not THAT good. Packed house, mostly Brits. Full stage setup, even laserssss. Guitars, drums, decks, Andy Cato even got on the trumpet a couple of times.

Jess Larabee was the main vocalist and her voice is ridic. British soul voice with power and she looks/acts/dances like a blonde Karen O. They also had that rapper MC from the Lovebox cd do a few songs including a closing rendition of Superstylin' that had the ground shaking.

1st great show of 2010.
