Profile: Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Corey Jasper has been leaving an undeniable mark on the NYC club and music scene.

In the Summer of 1996, Corey became one of the youngest main floor djs in NYC playing house music to a packed house at the famous PALLADIUM nightclub. Corey shared the night with famed hip hop dj FUNKMASTER FLEX.

Over the next couple years Corey was getting numerous dj bookings, and played virtually every main floor in the tri-state area. Some of the venues were Tunnel, Limelight, Carbon, , Expo, The Roxy, Systems, Speed, Bermudas, and numerous others.

The knowledge of what moves a crowd and the ability to provide them with music that wasnt being heard yet as well as perfect mixing skills finally got Corey the dj jobs he had only dreamed of, 1 wasplaying on the Main Floor Fridays at the Legendary Tunnel Nightclub with Dj Eddie Baez(The party was hosted by NYC's top promoters at the time Alex and Leo Baskin, and was titled EVOLUTION FRIDAYS. Other guest djs for this party were Johnny Vicious, Razor and Guido, Robbie Tronco, Da Hool, Grammy Award Winner Hex Hector, and for the most part any famous dj or producer at the time. In addition to these guest djs, the Tunnel also featured the top dance music artists of the time with performances and record release parties), as well as many NYC mainfloor spots and many spots within the US as well..

Spending days and nights watching his close friends making music gave Corey the itch to start into the music production realm, so in the later part of 1998 Corey teamed up with Dj Renegade of Limelight fame and remixed the most popular vocal of that year called "Find Another Woman" by Reina, . The song received tremendous reactions on dancefloors all over the country, and was featured on the hit mixed compilation SUMMER MADNESS

At this time, Corey received a tremendous personal loss when his mother passed away, so he took a much needed break from djing and decided to focus strictly on production and school. He took everything he had learned, as well as the advice of the people he looked up to and transformed it into his own unique tribal house sound which is often imitated, but never ever able to be duplicated.

During the next couple years, Corey learned how to do his own studio engineering, and jumped back into djing slowly at major venues locally so that he could have a platform to test out the music he was making.

In 2000 Corey was asked by longtime friend, and very well known promoter Tony Versus to be his resident dj at a new party starting at the LIMELIGHT nightclub. The party turned out to be a very succesful Thursday night party, showcasing Corey as well as world famous djs/producers David Waxman, Robert Junior, Peter Presta, Benny Maze, and Sizzahandz. This return to djing brought many guestspots for Corey over the next couple years.

In 2002 Corey decided to jump into the fast growing Internet world, and started a weekly internet radio-show in which he was getting a tremendous amount of listeners and positive feedback. It was during one of these shows that Corey caught the eye of World Reknown Dj/Remixer Mike Rizzo. At that time, Mike was busy remixing everyone from Gloria Gaynor, to Luther Vandross. Mike began giving Corey his tracks exclusively as he was finishing them, in order to test them on the show. This all lead up to the summer of 2002, when Mike asked Corey to play with him at a party hosted by NY's #1 Radio Station 103.5 KTU, at one of New Yorks most famous clubs The Roxy. This night was a huge success and made Corey realize he would like to step back into djing again full time.

Since then Corey has played numerous large events, including an opening set for Junior Vasquez at Exit nightclub, for Juniors party called Earth, Valentines Day at The Roxy with numerous performances, private industry/record label parties at exclusive lofts/lounges, and a movie premiere party for ClubLand, coming out in the spring of 2003.

The Summer of 2003 brought numerous dj bookings for Corey in NYC venues such as Groovejet, Lobby, The Roxy, and Exit..

The end of the Summer Corey got together with long time friend and very well known dj Shawn Ink to throw some events which were a success. Corey became a frequent guest Dj on Shawns 3 year old internet show Kartoonland, with huge numbers of listeners from everywhere, all sharing the common love of dance music. Corey continued to take numerous guest dj bookings around the tri state area.

The end of the year also proved to be a big time for Coreys production. Finishing tracks such as "The Drum Influence"(release records us), as well as a worldwide known remix of Kelis-Milkshake, a reconstruction of Billboard #1s Kim English-Missing You., and a new 2003 remix of Whitneys Love Will Save The Day gained Corey further recognition as one of the upcoming talents to look out for.

To end the year right Corey dj'd on the mainfloor New Years Eve at the world famous Webster Hall in NYC along with good friend Dj Spinbad, a world famous Dj who is on NYs power 105.1 every night of the week, to a crowd of thousands. The party held numerous performances, and a show by the Penthouse Pets of the Year.

At the very beginning of 2004 now, Corey is busy in the studio with numerous artists and producers following his dream of putting out records in all genres of music, as well as continuing his Dj career. Look for him soon at a Dancefloor near you.
